Pastor Anthony Carter (Terri)
Anthony Carter is the founder and pastor of Truth Baptist Church. He is married to his wife of 26 years, Terri Carter, and they have three adult children and two grandchildren. Pastor Carter has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies, a Master’s Degree in Christian Education, and is currently working to complete his Doctorate Degree in Theology. His Bachelor’s Degree was earned at Gulf Coast Bible Institute and His Master's and Doctorate Degrees will be earned at Andersonville Theological Seminary.
Rev. Owen McCowan
Owen McCowan is the associate minister at Truth Baptist Church. He is married to his wife of 34 years, Brenda McCowan, and they have two adult children. Owen McCowan is currently enrolled in Andersonville Theological Seminary and is expecting to complete his Bachelor’s degree in the very near future. He is the founder of Free Indeed ministries (a ministry for those who have any type of substance addictions) that teaches it is Christ and not a step program that delivers people from bondage.
Dea. Johnny Carter (Dorothy)
Johnny Carter is a deacon of Truth Baptist Church. He is married to his wife of 56 years, Dorothy Carter, and they have 6 children, one in the presence of the Lord, and 17 grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. Deacon Carter is retired from the US Army and US Postal Service.
Dea. Charlie Wilson (Patricia)
Charlie Wilson is a deacon of Truth Baptist Church. He is married to his wife of 42 years, Patricia Wilson, and they have 3 adult children and 4 grandchildren. Deacon Wilson is retired from the City of Jacksonville and is currently working part-time for the same city department. Deacon Wilson is also our Adult Men's Sunday School teacher and Financial Secretary.
Crystal Williams
Crystal Williams is our Church Clerk. She is a wife and mother of 2 children and is employed with Citibank Inc. Sis. Williams also teaches our Youth Sunday School class and is a member of the Truth Baptist Church Choir.
