Teen Choice

As this is our first meeting for the Teen Choice group we will define and have a general discussion on the topic of Choices.

DEFINITION OF CHOICE

Choice is a noun that means: the right, power, or opportunity to choose or make selection.

Important notes about choice:

There is always a choice!  (Even if we decide not to choose) Genesis 2:15-17; Genesis 3:1-6

 

Choices can reflect your character!  John 15:16; John 8:34

 

Choices can reveal who has dominion in your life!  1 Kings 18:21; Joshua 24:15; Heb. 11:24-25

 

(Environment, experiences – personal or otherwise, upbringing, circumstances, biochemistry) can all affect choices

 

Choices always have consequences (we discussed many during our meeting)

 

Salvation is the most important choice that any person can make.  John 3:16; John 6:35,40; 1 Thess. 1:8-9; Rev. 20:11-15

 

Our theme verse for Teen Choice is: Colossians 3:16-17

 

Spend time trying to memorize our theme verse.
